True basketball academy was formed in the year 2018, when the basketball level in country had dwindled. The academy was formed to provide the county and Africa as a whole with professional athletes. The aim of the academy is to provide an enabling environment to talented athletes to develop and nature their skills. The academy provides mentoring to the school going children and train them on life skills. The programs run allow for young athletes to discover, enhance and develop their sporting talent while getting their education.
